brunswick partnership for housing services

The Brunswick Partnership for Housing is a nonprofit, transitional housing agency providing eligible families with a safe, stable environment in which to live for nine to 18 months as they work to gain permanent housing.

From the very beginning of their admission, families are served by those coordinating support services that best meet their needs. Importantly, they will meet with a trained support advocate to develop an action plan including personal and financial goals needed to get them back on their feet as soon as possible. Together they will regularly review the action plan and monitor progress toward a permanent home.

Following a thorough screening process, homeless individuals and families will be able to live in one of the apartments in the BPH Felton-Russell House from nine-18 months as they transition to a permanent housing situation. Staff and volunteers will work with residents to ensure they are connected to partnering agencies and services that will provide them with the assistance they need to get back on their feet.

Partner Agencies providing coordinating support services include:

  • Cape Fear Homeless Continuum of Care

  • Brunswick Family Assistance

  • Brunswick County Homeless Coalition

  • Brunswick Senior Resources

  • Helping Hands of the Cape Fear

  • Southport Oak Island Interchurch Fellowship
