Takiea is a fifth generation local to Southport NC. Born and raised here, she brings a wealth of knowledge about the past and present growth development in the area and has witnessed, first-hand, the growing need for homeless services here. She is a lab technician.  She also works with a local nonprofit agency to help those who are coming out of incarceration, struggling with substance abuse and low economic levels. Her passion to serve the community and share her personal experiences brings different insights and opens a breadth of opportunities for Brunswick Partnership for Housing and its clients.
